Is Sarah Palin neglecting family for career?

A friend of mine who is a member of the clergy tells me the story of when he first met Sarah Palin. It was in Fairbanks at the state Republican Convention right when Palin first threw her hat in the ring to run for governor. My minister friend knew very little about Palin at the time of the meeting. After the introduction the two started talking one on one. Once my clergy friend learned Palin had four kids, all under 18 at the time, he asked her how she planed on balancing the very demanding job of being a governor with the responsibility that comes with a big family. After all, my friend is a minister and these are the kind of things men of the cloth ask. Read more

Have you noticed how our governor seems to have convinced herself only some of the rules apply to her?

This attitude was really at the heart of Troopergate. It also allows her to do things like take cash from the state for spending more than 300 nights in her own home in Wasilla.

Now it appears the governor may have found a new way to skirt the rules. How is it possible that the governor's soon-to-be son-in-law, Levi Johnston, is working as an apprentice on the North Slope? Read more
