The Alaska Standard
Alaska Sen. Mark Begich is a strong backer of President Barack Obama’s plan to spend one trillion dollars on so-called health care reform. Mr. Begich even defends Mr. Obama’s ridiculous notion that half the trillion-dollar plan will be paid for with new Medicare efficiencies.

I listened to Begich and not once did I hear that he was going to listen to his constituency or the will of the people. He simply reiterated that "this health plan will be good for the people..." Mark, the people don't want it. A majority of the American people are against it. There is a swelling of resentment coming that will change the powerbase that the democrats now enjoy. Mark, this will affect you but you are incapable of hearing the will of the people that put you in office. If you won't represent the people of Alaska we will have to get someone who will.
This should be of no great revelation to anyone. Mr. Begich failed to pay his appropriate taxes without a little nudging; so we know Mr. Begich is weak on simple economics. He further left the city in a massive deficit just to show what many of us already knew. If your thinking Mr. Begich actually meant it when he promised to be an "independent voice for Alaska", well I guess the moon is really made of Blue Cheese.
In the interest of being politically correct let's call Begich disingenuous insted of a liar. If he had gone to college and taken a course in basic economics or had a minimum of respect , common sense or just a smigen of integrity, he would realise the average working stiff does not believe his "health care" claims. How is it that 40 million people that don't have health care now are going to get it and costs are going to go down??
I can't stand it! BEGICH, YOU ARE A LIAR! The only thing we can do that is politically correct is vote this turkey out of office.
are not as smart as begich. If only I had that thrill up my leg...that is begich's truth. Does mark have that kind of experience to save 1/2 a trillion from a program?
