E-Mails show most angry with me over Levi Johnston story

Here are a dozen or so of the mostly angry e-mails I received from across the country and Alaska after the story broke yesterday that Levi Johnston quit the ASRC apprentice program. These represent a small sampling of the hundreds I received.

At first I just called you a FAT BASTARD now I have to ad COMUNIST FAT BASTARD, How did you get your job, on your knees or bent over a desk. Give the Palins a break, Levi is only trying to man up and be a man, take some of his actions and use them for yourself ,maybe you could get laid and knock up one of your hookers or boyfriends

It is one thing for you to be obsessive in attacking Gov Palin however it is out of bounds for you to attack the children or relatives of the Governor. It is admiral to see young Mr. Johnson try to better himself and work to support an upcoming family. For you to attack this person on a minor technicality is unforgivable. Mr. Johnson has now left his job. The best thing I can say about you is that you are a complete ass!!!

I just want to thank you for bringing it out in the open that Levi Johnston wasn’t qualified for the job at Milne Point. Had he been qualified, it would be a different story, but when folks are working with electricity and harm can be done by someone who isn’t at the minimum qualified, it becomes a safety issue. I wish him luck in getting his GED or diploma as he'll need it to provide income for his future family. I am a supporter of our governor and feel confident she had no part in his ASRC employment.?Cheri D.

The kid got a break from his dads connections. Johnston's father, Keith Johnston, said the governor had nothing to do with getting Levi the Slope job. Keith Johnston said his own position as an ASRC construction engineer accounts for any help his son received in landing work. Getting good job for many of us is on who you know not always what you know. I believe the kid got a break from his dad who has seniority in the system.
I'm not sure what happened between you and Palin but you need to let it go. You really are losing your credibility as a talk show host. When you start ranting I have to turn you off. You start sounding like my step mother on steroids. I like listening to you but this obsession you have against Palin is ridiculous. Yes she screwed up bad with ACES and I'm sure it will blow up in her face in the near future, but life goes on.
On a positive note Palin did turn the tide on our last Governor (Murkowski) kissing ass to Exxon (little on the extreme side but it needed to be done). Take a chill pill. Otherwise keep up the good work and say hello to San Juanita for me. Take care

You unnecessarily rake a young man over the coals, with your yellow journalism, just because of your personal vendetta against governor Palin. You been barking like a junk yard dog against governor Palin for some time. It seems you used Levi Johnson to get back at governor Palin, with your false accusation against Levi Johnson who was only trying to make a living. You reported slanderous false information and now this young man has been tarnished by your actions. What's the matter, you thought that by attacking Levi Johnson that you could discredit governor Palin. You even made inaccurate assumptions that governor Palin had influence the oil field business to get Levi the job. Shame on you.

What a jerk you are most of the time. To destroy a young man's career for your own personal vendetta against our Governor is a travesty. This was uncalled for. You should get on your knees and ask for forgiveness to Levi's family, of course you won't. It is your nature to use up other people for your show. You went to far this time.

Does it make you feel better now that you got Levi Johnston to quit his job? Does your vendetta against Sarah Palin have to extend to every person in her family or people that know her? I think it’s a shame that you couldn’t just let a young man catch a break and leave it alone.

I read the young man quit his job. Congratulations, you outed a teenager who isn't school inlined, but is mechanically inclined for getting help from his father - not his girlfriend's parents as you suggested - to get a job. A teenager who has a young son to support. Now, because of pressure brought on by you, a man of questionable motives, he has quit.

You must be very, very proud.

You must be real proud of yourself interfering with the life of a young man trying to get an education and a trade skill. It’s tough enough starting out when you’re young but add on top of that a new baby and a wedding down the road and you are looking at a hard go of it. Then you stick your nose into the mix and make the situation even worse. I don’t live in Alaska any more so I cant listen to your show but just what I have read lately I would tag you as a Liberal and not the Conservatist your station touts. Any way stay out of peoples personal lives and concentrate on more important matters.

Since you were so successful in making young Levi Johnston lose his ?job, maybe you can contact Governor Paterson in NY, and stop ?Caroline Kennedys unashamed attempt to take a Senate seat she is no ?more qualified for than Levi Johnston. Giving a Senate seat to ?someone so unqualified as CK is a slap in the face to many of the hard ?working people who came up from the ranks....you would really be doing ?a service if you helped derail the Kennedy express as the entire ?Country will suffer....unlike young Mr. Johnston's job as an ?electrical apprentice.
